As we use more and more time cuddled up with our electronic devices, laptops, and ipad, a huge question arises: Are these things making us closer together or distant?
The answer may depend on which generation you were in.
Technology can be a dilemma when it lets you bypass accepting liability for your behaviors– for instance, ‘ghosting’ an individual rather than ending things up with them in person — but it also provides us several various methods to create and establish relationships, join alliances, and showwhat we need from each other
Below is the list of how the result of technology benefits our marriage:
1. Calendar! I think words are not enough to explain how much I adore having our calendars combined. What a tremendous advantage! This supports us each passing day. I am able to write notes, contact numbers, and other similar details… all in ONE place that we two have path to right on our gadgets. Really helpful for our busy marriage.
2. Texting. Another great help here. Shopping lists, directions or instructions, exchange of i love you’s… texting is the greatest things to occur in technology for “non-phone talking” partners. We can send a message to each other if we are in an important meeting, which we are in most of the time, or when are very far from each other, which we are a lot, even if we are in the same room! Funny but it is actually true! Texting allows us to be connected regardless of what happens.
3. GPS – Good bye to physical maps or mirror printed mapquest instructions which often lead to confusion. But now, we both can hear to the GPS which states to us clearly where we must go. No checking for directions or fighting over which way is correct… can we say relax in the car, please? We are also fond of google maps. All the time. like a lot. so much simper for us both!
4. Social Media. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook… entertains and allows us to communicate to friends and loved ones like we never did before.
